FIFTEEN: SPRING 2023

Titled FIFTEEN, Bianca Spender's Spring 2023 collection commemorates 15-years as a leader in design.

The collection sets the stage for the sharing of the deeply personal design journey Bianca has travelled and looks to historical archival designs with fresh eyes. Most-loved designs have been reinvigorated and celebrate the beauty of Bianca's signature design handwriting and languid drape she is best known for.

The essence of softness embodies the collection, captured through fulsome gathers and soft eyelets at the waistline in starched cottons and drill. As though a gentle gust of summer wind brushed against you, necklines are draped and cowled, tenderly slipping off the shoulder. 

Frame-like forms receive a feminine treatment through languidly angled folds that encompass and envelop.
Untraditional tailoring captures the soft spirit of the collection. Effortless volume, drape and unexpected fold details bring an ease and modernity to suiting and outerwear and mansy tailored forms are reinterpreted into sculptural bustier dresses.

An undeniable sense of sculptural roundness reflects the rich juxtapositions of the natural Australian landscape. A supple colour palette of neutral rust, cinnamon, clay, beige and apricot feel touched by the grounding earth, while pure shades of azure look to the spirit of the vast sky.
