We are all stardust. We are all connected, and we are all seeking connection.

How can we build a future that will orbit with calmness and consistency for millions of years to come?

Much contemplation has taken place this year. In the quietness of lockdowns, and in a new appreciation for the Earths constant rotation, which means that a new day continues to dawn, and with it new possibilities.

 Our colour palette this season was inspired by the Sky, more particularly the sunrises and sunsets which I have found myself gazing at. The breathtaking beauty, the transience, the everchanging and unexpected nature of the sky.

The circular patterns of nature and of our very existence influenced my design. Shapes that swirled, and curved. My touchstones of fluidity, drapery, a sense of a body being enfolded and cocooned by fabric, all rose to the fore.

 This state of flux, also serves to highlight the meaningful. For me, clothing should bring joy, shelter and protection, a sense of both strength and vulnerability, a tie to history and a path to the future.

I wanted to explore a harder edge with this collection, visible in the use of Leatherette and pleated Lace, in graphic lines, in sharp collars. This is balanced by the elliptical shapes, the softest satins, the pieces that stretch and mould.

The foundation of stone, earth and pitch, are traversed by rich blues, pinks and deepest greens. Prints reference nature and its rectilinear man-made opposition.

Fabrications reflect both our new found desire for ease and comfort, for multi-purpose wear, whilst also acknowledging a desire for dressing up. For the magical make-believe world of fairy tale experiences.

We are all on a voyage of discovery. Explore this new collection with a sense of freedom. It is full of subtle surprises, it feels heavenly to wear, it is uplifting, and also grounding. Its time is now.
