SPRING SUMMER 26 | QUIET REBELLION

There is a particular kind of strength that does not need to announce itself.

The hellebore blooms in winter, emerging through cold earth and shadow when little else is expected to grow. Rather than resisting its environment, it responds to it – adapting to the conditions around it and creating space for beauty to appear.

This quiet resilience makes the hellebore a natural symbol for the Spring Summer 26 collection, Quiet Rebellion.

Its softness is not fragility, but intention. Its beauty is not dependent on ideal circumstances. It represents a form of strength that unfolds from within. Instinctive, assured and free from the need for outward declaration.

Read on to discover the story behind the collection.

Spring Summer 26 considers freedom as something felt rather than declared. Rebellion is expressed not through excess or disruption, but through a quiet recalibration of familiar forms: a softening of structure, a release of tension and a shift in the relationship between fabric and the body.

Throughout the collection, silhouettes move between control and release. Funnel necks frame the body with precision, while fluid draping, softly gathered forms and expansive volume create a sense of openness. Garments hold their shape, then fall away from it – allowing space for movement, interpretation and individuality.

Like the hellebore responding to its environment, each piece is designed to move intuitively with the wearer rather than define her.

Texture becomes central to this negotiation between softness and strength.

Crinkled metal fabrications bring dimension and subtle luminosity to sculptural yet deceptively simple silhouettes. Technical nylons introduce a lightweight athleticism, contrasted by the fluidity of liquid organza and cascading chiffon. Faux-crocodile leather offers depth and weight, while double organza and stretch ponte sculpt the body with a sense of structure that never feels restrictive.

Structured surfaces are balanced by fluid forms. Weight is offset by air. Precision gives way to movement.

These contrasts create a collection that never settles into uniformity. Instead, each fabrication shifts the familiar into something unexpected – a simple silhouette reconsidered through texture, proportion and the way it responds to the body.

Inspired in part by the work of sculptor Barbara Hepworth, the collection explores how solid forms can be opened through light, space and air.

Garments frame rather than enclose. A funnel neck is drawn close before a skirt falls away from the body. Draped fabric is twisted and gathered to alter its natural state. A line of piping or a contrast edge creates a small but deliberate interruption.

These details are subtle, yet transformative. They embody the spirit of quiet rebellion: the possibility that a considered shift can reframe the whole.

Nothing within the collection feels fixed. Each piece leaves room for the wearer’s own expression. For softness and strength, structure and ease, restraint and freedom to exist together.

Like the hellebore, Quiet Rebellion finds power through adaptation. It does not wait for permission or perfect circumstances. It creates its own space to emerge.

Spring Summer 26 is a collection that does not ask for attention, but holds it.
