Our pieces are made for busy women, and we know washing these fabrics at home can be daunting. So, we’ve put together a simple, time-efficient and sustainable care guide – for when you need to wash at home.

Easy Care

Designed for easy care, easy wear dressing your viscose, cupro and most of your jersey fabrics can all be put in the washing machine on a cold delicate cycle.

Hang out to dry in a shady area with the rest of your washing. These garments are designed to be worn again and again – so we’ve made cleaning them just as simple.

Delicates

Your special silk georgettes, silk cotton, jersey and crepes are all beautiful and delicate fabrics, so we recommend a cool, gentle hand-wash.

Wash one piece at a time using a bucket or sink with a small amount of detergent. Bathe, rinse, gently squeeze out excess water and air dry in the shade. To prevent water marks iron from the outside in.

Pleating

Our beautiful pleated items are all hand-folded in Sydney. They are very intricate so need some extra attention. Hand wash in cold water or a delicate cold cycle.

Leave to dry with the pleats hanging down so they’re free to keep their shape. Avoid any steam as this can remove the pleating.

Tailoring

As the weather starts to warm up the time is approaching to store your tailored pieces. To ensure they maintain their condition for next year, dry clean  before storing in a breathable sweater storage bag, preferably not plastic as air needs to circulate.

Tip: Keep your jackets/coats on thick wooden hangers to help keep shape throughout the shoulders.

 

Special Tips

To keep your garments looking their best, try to avoid contact with rough surfaces, and to be mindful of jewellery that may tug leave marks on the fabric.

Washing your piece in cold water helps elongate the life of your garment as its less likely to shrink, fade and wrinkle. It’s also a more affordable and environmentally friendly way to wash than your conventional methods.

Spot cleaning tip. To remove makeup, dirt or pen marks use a soft clean toothbrush with water and mild soap and gently rub small circles in the affected area.
